Terms and Conditions
The contract is between us, BLR leisure ltd t/a Silk and the person named upon the receipt (the hirer). 2. A contract (confirmed booking) is only formed between us and the hirer when a non refundable deposit is paid of £100 for normal parties and £250 for weddings unless otherwise agreed in writing by us. 3. We reserve the right to cancel your booking without liability to you and
without any obligation to refund your deposit and any other monies paid if (a) We discover that you have concealed information or
deliberately given us incorrect information about your intended function where (if you had not done so) it would have been
reasonably foreseeable that we would have not accept your booking. (b) remaining balances are not paid by the due dates. (c) We have reasonable grounds to believe that your behavior or that of your guests is likely to result in damage to the venue or to our
property and / or injury to people. 4. Third party catering suppliers are not permitted to supply food for any event held at Silk unless confirmed in writing by us at the time of confirmed booking. We reserve the right to not allow food on the premises if we have
reasonable grounds to believe it has been sourced from a third party. We accept no liability relating to any costs incurred by the hirer relating to catering which we believe has been supplied by a third party. 5. We allow you to supply your own catering provided a third party catering supplier has not been used (please see section 4) this term is not applicable for wedding related functions. All
liabilities relating to the food is accepted by yourself the hirer. 6. No drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic are allowed to be brought into the venue by the hirer or guests unless permission is confirmed in writing at the time of confirmed booking.
